運動的「動詞」如何搭配?

因為 sport 是名詞，前面會搭配動詞play；

而 exercise 可以直接當作動詞，也可以名詞的方式使用，當名詞時，前面就會使用動詞do。

因此，運動的常用的說法：

play sport；

do exercise ;

go+Ving。

哪些運動要搭配play 那些要用go那些要用do呢?

幾個原則判斷:

首先，這項運動有沒有用到球類，且常為競賽的模式，如果有使用到「球類」的話，一般就會搭配動詞 “play”，沒有的話，單純強健身體，增進健康的運動，就搭配 “go + Ving”。

[小補充] play + the(冠詞)+樂器

Play作為彈奏樂器時，是要加冠詞的 ，像是「play the piano」、「play the guitar」、「play the violin」；但是要注意，在運動上，是不需要加冠詞的喔!

原則一: 不使用球類。

原則二: 可以變成「動名詞」V-ing的運動（go + Ving）。

• 其中，golf高爾夫雖然是球類，但是因為golf有動詞型態，因此用動名詞golfing， 所以我們說go golfing。打高爾夫  (也有人用 play golf)

Do

1. 大多是以身體的動作為主的動作，因此這類運動常會被大多人視為是比較調養生息的運動。強身，目的不在競賽

2. 通常搭配在室內、可以單獨從事的運動。

• do aerobic 有氧健身操
